This week i focused on lighting.
I started off the week with lighting for shot 2.

Light Setup in maya:

RGBA, Depth, Emission AOV passes handed over to Qinye.

I also did another render pass where the speaker lights were off.

This is what Qinye handed back to me. She really added to the work i already did. I think for next week the only improvement i can is bring down that highlight spot. It fights for the focal point.
After this shot i moved onto Shot 4.

Thats the lighting setup.

AOV passes setup were RGBA, Depth, DiffuseFilter, DiffuseLighting, ReflectionFilter, and Reflection.

On the houdini Side i just placed one area light do to me not having alot of time.

AOV made: RGBA, Depth, Diffuse, Specular, MotionVector, DiffuseFilter, Reflection

Handed these files over to Qinye and she handed me
After this I started on Shot 1:
Maria did a great job creating the FX and passing me the file. My job was to get placeholder texture, light, and render out the shot. I started off with the textures. I googled Marble OSL shader for redshift link here: https://github.com/redshift3d/RedshiftOSLShaders/blob/main/MarbleShader.osl

Settings:

A problem I ran into was that the shader was in world space and not uv space which makes the shader not move with the shader
Due to the OSL shader not having uv space I created my own marble shader.

Current Problem is that the texture don't randomize but I fixed the other problems. I'll work with my team to fix the current problem by next week.
After this i went on to render out Shot 6.
